Unlike you I can handle the fact that although I love all Final Fantasies 1 - 10, With the 3 main people behind why they were good gone they now suck quite bad. 12 was awful and 13 wiont be much better.

I'm no fanboy and also I didnt ignore other sales, sales forPes and Fifa arent available on 360 at mo for some reason.

My point is the sales dont help with devs, and to devs sales are evrything!!!

Firstly I think the PS3 will actually outsell the 360 total for 08'. Huge exclusives, blu-ray gaining ground, possibly another price cut, strength in Japan and Europe.

1 million is not measly.  (Also The game will probably reach 1.5-2.0 million lifetime.)

Although I agree that a percentage of PS3's are being bought as Blu-ray players, I think 30% is far too high a figure. My guess is the figure is about 3-4%. This is just a guess however, as is your own figure.

PS3 software is doing fine. In Europe in particular it's doing great.

From my personal experience, the PS3 is being bought by a lot of people with its Blu-Ray movie and Media Center functionality as their primary motivation; this isn't saying that they are not buying games as well, but (once again, from my personal experience) they seem to be buying less games than XBox 360 and Wii owners.

Now, it is difficult to measure how statistically important these sales are because you would have to figure out how many games were being sold per user for every system and then adjust these numbers based on what should be expected based on the quality of the library.

Ps3 has sold more consoles worldwide than 360 for the last 4 weeks, and software sales improve all the time. Maybe it will take longer for the ps3 to overtake the 360, than his 360 will breake (because that's gonna happen any day now), but before the end of the year when half of the 360s no longer works, their software sales will sink to rock bottom.

How many sold 360 will still work at the end of the year???

Without those two games, the Wii has 14 Million sellers, that have combined for over 35 Million units sold;  the PS3 (including bundles) has 7 Million sellers that have combined for 12 Million units sold.

Beat me to it. Besides, I believe all bundled games should be removed when talking about software sales. No one makes any money from them and therefore, they're irrelevent.

Im sure the difference (in COD4 and AC sales) have nothing to do with the 360's much larger userbase. Nah, nothing.
