Thanks for the advice, even though i didn't "talk down".

I tried the closed beta, and it was a huge let down, since I had big expectation for the game (being a former EVE player for years)

I think, between the time Dust was announced and this beta release, competition had much better offers (Planetside, Tribes...I won't talk about Hawken)

Now is the open beta any better than what it was a few months ago ? Has there been improvements over the graphics, map, guns ? When will we get the famous orbital strikes which was the key feat of the game ?

I never played the closed beta, but are precision strikes the orbital strikes?

Hehe, I remember sneaking into a capture point on skirmish alone, and while I was hacking the point I heard this weird sound and some light glowing around me, and BOOM! Precision strike. Right before I was about to capture the point too ;_;
