Wii U virtual console is surprisingly fair, I expected something shady. Thats why I never bought anything digital on the Wii.

I agree 100% i was very excited that games that you already own on wii can be rebought for so cheap. For me it's worth the extra money to play them on the gamepad or with my wiiu pro controller. Plus there are also new features like miiverse integration and restore points. It just seems really really fair to me. I just hope all the games I bought on wii eventually make it over to wiiu.
I had the same idea as Audry. Sure it missing the crossplay from PS3/Vita, but it's as good as it gets! And the users who already have the games on Wii, it's just ONE dollar a game for the upgrade and I envy thos users. Free is better, but 1 dollar is a whole lot better (and quite frankly a steal) than coughing up the prices such as Ebay and it's legit from a company that was made from!
So I don't get all this complaint that the world is going to end... :D

..and here i thought the $300 spent an a system advertised to have cool features like gamepad support would have been enough of a surcharge. it's not like it's an upgrade to the game you bought, it's an upgrade to the wiiU's OS and when was the last time anyone has charged for OS support?!? nintendo can do whatever they want but the sheer fact they can discount the game means they know you already bought it means it is insulting to make you buy it again even at a reduced cost.
this is just bad business. nintendo's ultra fans make be able to justify this to themselves out of love, most reasonable people will not.
