Oh, btw, if Lost Odyssey 2 comes out as a launch title.... consider my credit card charged. Muahahha.

Won't happen at least not under Mistwalker.
Don't know why people don't understand that - They had a 2 TWO Game contract cause Mistwalker needed help to rise the studio.
The day they were done Sakaguchi didn't care anymore for Microsoft. They said they don't like it there and rather work with Nintendo(cause he doesn't like Sony either)
And im pretty sure no studio Microsoft has at the moment is able to make a good J-RPG.

My choice is the PS4 this time.
Why?Cause it will have the better games - Easy as that.
The 360 had an awesome lineup Sony couldn't even dream to compete with. But this time they won't...at least not for MY taste in games.
I want a Killzone 4 and the new IP of Guerilla Games.I want the new Naughty Dog IP and probably a new Uncharted.I want the new game from Quantic Dream and the new Gran Turismo.I want the new IP of Santa Monica Studios and some other developers Sony has working knowingly on NextGen Games. And who knows what is happening with The Last Guardian and Versus13(hope it stays exclusive)
And im pretty sure a lot of Japanese Developers will either choose Sony or Nintendo this time directly.

Alan Wake 2 would be a reason to buy a Nextbox but i have a gaming PC and Remedy did fight hard for the release of AW1 on PC.So its pretty sure it will come sooner or later on PC too.Everything else(Forza,Kinect, new Halo and Gears Trilogy,CoD Mappacks) i don't care for.Cause i either get better games of the same genre on other platforms or don't care at all for them(Kinect)

I invest probably earlier than expected(plan was end of the Gen) in a WiiU cause it gets games i want.
Zelda, new Monolith Software J-RPG that is actually looking and playing like a J-RPG should(R.I.P. SquareEnix) and probably a few others like Mistwalker games(they talked about it).

Saints Row 1 is a X360 exclusive. SR2 is a direct continuation of SR1, so I would not like to play it without knowing the story from the original game.
I know that now you can play ME1 on the  PS3, but this generation is over and I dont care about that after 7 years.

Now i have to get the next gen xbox just because the first saint's row is exclusive. Dude that was 7 years ago a lot has changed since than devolpers now know how to make games for the ps3. So no more 3rd party exclusives for the xbox.

Yes, a lot has changed. Sony is now completly broke

I say Playstation. Honestly I think anyone would be limiting themselves by getting the nextbox (If current trends continue into next gen). The variety alone in Sony's exclusives are pretty much what do it for me, and I've never had a problem with any of my consoles.

Plus nobody knows, but if Microsoft pushes Kinect for their next system it could leave a sour taste in it's core fanbase.

All in all I say Sony. Great variety of exclusives, reliable hardware, and they seemed to be focused on their core fanbase the most.

EDIT: Sorry if this seems fanboyish, but that's how I feel.

You don't have to apologize for saying the truth/opinion, My brotha!

Whooping? They lost this generation and cant produce a single exclusive that would sell great. LBP Karting, Ratchet, Starhawk, Battle Royale - to name a few disasters.

At least they are trying to make good games from our money and not rely on 2-3 exclusives. You know what i mean.

Wii U.

Ah, another thought. I'm also kind of skeptical on ever renewing XBL again..... I doubt they will free up any services without a paid subscription.

My iPad has a FIOS app (which is why I did renew my gold subscription in the past). I also did when Netflix was exclusive.

Everyone needs to play Lost Odyssey! Any opposition to this and I will have to just say, "If it's a fight you want, you got it!"

I've been aware of the deal they had with Mistwalker.  It's just really sad to see such a great jrpg (and, IMO, best of this gen on consoles) to not be under development.

I can always dream ;)

1. I got RROD four times but never had a problem with Microsoft. Packed it up, shipped it out, and a few weeks later a working console arrived.

1.5 However somewhat along those lines I'm very upset in Microsoft adding HDMI out on new xboxs. I still play on the very first model and can't play games in 3D because of this. They should have made a proprietary adapter for consumers like me.

2. No. I'm currently enjoying my PS3 more then my XBOX so I expect that to carry over to the beginning of next gen.

3. I'll buy the PS4K at launch and I'll buy the XBOX8 as soon as it becomes reasonable.

4. $900. That is the budget I have for all of next generation at launch. If PS4k costs $800, then I'm only getting one game. If PS4K costs $400 and XBOX8 costs $350, then I'll get both at launch and a few games.

5. I don't waste money on warranties. As a consumer like me with disposable income they are pointless. Plus if my console breaks early even without warranty I can get a replacement through the store or the company due to them selling me a defective product.
