Nice to see Wind Waker getting the support it deserves.

On the other hand, things are not looking good for GameCube support in Virtual Console. Maybe that's to be expected given that the vast majority of Wiis sold have GC backward compatibility.

Money talks. If players really do end up chipping in and make NES and SNES VC conversions to Wii U profitable or at least comoensates for Nintendo's efforts, GC games could find their way to Wii U VC ....down the road. Once the conversion team is done with the current pipeline.

Nowadays a new MGS is selling better than Zelda,but noone has become ecstatic about MGS 3 HD or called MGS HD a system seller(and MGS HD has 3 games in 1,wind waker is just 1 game)

Maybe Wii U owners are a little bit desperate now(like vita owners) that they are thankfull for every little game but
it's the same situation for Wii U now Nintendo Fanboys were criticizing the Vita for.
Almost only sequels(and i'm pretty sure mario cart is more HD using old tracks but new.)and games everyone knew that they will be released.
Vita was criticized by nintendo fanboys for virtua tennis,uncharted,wipeout,fifa

nintendo is worshipped for doing the same with mario3d,mario cart(the same games that were released in the past month for 3ds,being released again on wii u=boring)and wind waker.
that's pathetic.

Now I"ll try to find out what was so amazing about Nintendo direct.I've only heard about games everyone knew that they would be released on wii u anyway.

Wait.....What game is there for the PS360 is there that is of "similar quality" to the Wind Waker other than Final Fantasy VII?

Nintendo in doing these remasters is probably also realizing, damn... maybe the Wii should have been HD from the start as well. They already admitted that they misjudged how quickly 1080p HDTV penetration in the market will take place. They could have been creating the HD market instead of being left behind by it. It was short sighted of them.
