I loved Gamecube era games. Was I the only one that liked Sunshine? :

Wind Waker got a art style "wow" upgrade that hopefully shows Nintendo they were wrong to belay the HD revolution when they executed the motion controls revolution.

I would also like some other Gamecube games to get "remastered"... not just HD version like the standard HD collections that PS3 has gotten. This "remaster" approach is far more exciting.

Gamecube games I would like to see remastered for Wii U

• Eternal Darkness
• Geist
• Anything else that isn't part of on going series getting new updated "games"

So F-Zero better get a new game and Metroid better get a new game. I don't need remakes of those... need new games for those. Although... Metroid Prime remastered would still be instant buy for me.

Iwata probably told him next Zelda had to be realistic so this was his revenge project.

Metroid Prime was such a fucking beautiful game that I wouldn't want to see one pixel changed even into supposedly higher quality.

I can emulate the shit out of Windwaker in 2560x1440, but it doesn't even come close to look anything like the remake.

Because it has awesome new grafix.  Don't worry when this game comes out I'll pay much less for the system, and many more games would have come out by then that will justify the purchase of a wiiu.

Thing is, windwaker has had a big cult following much later after release. I wouldn't be surprised if it did Ocarina 3D numbers! That would be awesome

What is so amazing about wind waker HD?Nothing.The only amazing thing will be that Nintendo will try to sell this games for full prize,just like they did with OOT.
Nowadays a new MGS is selling better than Zelda,but noone has become ecstatic about MGS 3 HD or called MGS HD a system seller(and MGS HD has 3 games in 1,wind waker is just 1 game)

Maybe Wii U owners are a little bit desperate now(like vita owners) that they are thankfull for every little game but
it's the same situation for Wii U now Nintendo Fanboys were criticizing the Vita for.
Almost only sequels(and i'm pretty sure mario cart is more HD using old tracks but new.)and games everyone knew that they will be released.
Vita was criticized by nintendo fanboys for virtua tennis,uncharted,wipeout,fifa

nintendo is worshipped for doing the same with mario3d,mario cart(the same games that were released in the past month for 3ds,being released again on wii u=boring)and wind waker.

Now I"ll try to find out what was so amazing about Nintendo direct.I've only heard about games everyone  knew that they would be released on wii u anyway.

I'm usually not interested in HD-ports but since it's Wind Waker with some new features added...Take my money!
