There is no sense to be made here.RE making games is not innovative that's the bottom line.

They're a business, and a business has the aim of making money. So they make remakes.

At the same time (this is where you didn't get the memo), the company is innovative in its new games, with new content. Games like Wii Sports, Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Brothers are all innovative.

But you're not here for that, you're here to bash Nintendo. Well guess what pal, that's not new to us, and you'll be bashing your head against a brick wall at this stage so for now I'll just say: "enjoy the ride".

There a business wow I didn't know that.*Sarcasm*

I think im familiar with their work Mario Galaxy etc... So then I guess Sony is also innovative to then.

Must admit, I agree with a couple of the comments in this article:

It looks absolutely beautiful, don't get me wrong. But it seems like they've lost the cartoony edge in the HD upgrade, especially on those screenshots of the characters. They've also overdone the bloom in those screenshots, but I'm sure that could be tuned down.

Interesting, anyway. Was expecting Majora's, not this. Seems to have made a lot of people happy, so that's all that matters in the end.

This footage is definitely not final. This was just the Zelda dev team experimenting with the Wii U hardware and the HD capabilities of cell-shaded graphics (probably to use a similar art style in the new Zelda). The final artstyle is probably going to be shown at E3.

I honestly think you should just keep to yourself rather than ruining threads with your negativity. Thanks.

Didn't Iwata stated in ND that these screenshots were done when they did the Zelda HD tech demo back in 2011???

So if thats the case maybe today they don't like like this anymore...I think they are much better now

If Nintendo was innovative they wouldn't be RE making their old games.

I hate people who sugarcoat companies.

People who don't understand the difference between lines of products and the company's direction as a whole should listen to the other posters who make more sense.

look I realize you are pretty new to the gaming world

But Nintendo does innovate and remake which is nothing new

upping a game into HD is not copying just like releasing a next gen console after someone ells does is not copyin

Ever heard of Phonics? Yeah use it lol.

IIRC the Zelda director said that the footage was taking when they were experimenting with the hardware. Although I was so excited at the moment that I probably didn't catch correctly what he said lol.

Might finally have a reason to pick one up now, great news.
