"It might look like a double standard on the surface, but the surrounding circumstances of MBP's and my thread aren't equal. MBP was coming off of only god knows how many locked threads due to inciting PS3 vs. 360 wars. He also had several threads where he stated in the OP 'This thread was approved by moderator X.' which still got locked eventually. It was only a matter of time until the mods would step in and lock one of his threads before the really bad stuff began to happen.
Additionally, his thread didn't have an opening paragraph like mine which alters the tone and conveyed message of the post." Rol.

It was still obvious that MBP's was a joke though.  It's not like any of the threads flat out say "Hey this is a joke, don't take it seriously."  I know mods has read my questions multiple times but they have been ignoring my questions too.  It is a double standard and I dont see how anybody could say that it's not.

Bolded: you know that's not the case. That happened once and it was a newly recruited mod who banned you, he learnt the lesson and it never happeend again.

and it's not about who you offend either. 

But I agree that it depends on who you are, and I don't think there is anything wrong about that.

Interesting. So it seems that one can make 2-3 objectionable threads but must take a break and not continue like MBP (Not Macbook pro). Time your insults and flammatory content that causes grief among others and you should be okay.

In the process you might even gain fans from your suported platform owners. These people will defend you in the future because you made them laugh and everyone loves giggles.
