What style of Zelda is your favorite?  3D like Ocarina of Time, Top Down like Link to the Past, or sidescrolling

3D, like Ocarina of Time. That's the only Zelda I know...

3D for me. The Wind Waker wouldn't of had the same impact if it was a top down 2D style.

I do like the 2D versions as well though.

3D is superior in every way, as I see it. It has everything that 2D Zelda offers, be it gameplay from a sidescrolling or a top down view, plus a lot more.



Really can't see people defending 2D Zelda for other reasons than nostalgia.

Personally I like top down more. The Minish cap and Oracle of seasons is my two favorite zelda.

I like both 2D and 3D games, but the 3D ones gave me more exciting moments, maybe because I played more of the 3D ones...

I like the 3D Zeldas more. Should add that the only 2D Zelda games I played were Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks though. Both were really good games, but none of them could hold a candle against the 3D Zeldas.

3D all the way. The early games did nothing for me - except Links Awakening which I love.
