Yes, it's one of the best games ever made. And if you disagree you clearly haven't hit the toy galaxy yet.

 I still have not made it to the toy galaxy that i remember, but i doubt that will make the game much better, one of the major problems with the game is the Camera and because of the camera the controls get screwed, and it makes the game not very fun because mario does not do what i want him to.  If i was able to play the game with a GC controller i bet the game would be better.  The wii-mote does not enhance the game, it gimps it.

But i'm almost finished the orange box, just have half of ep2 to finsh then i can try and finish SMG.  I got tired of the crappy phantom hourglass on the DS, so i'm not going to finish it.

It's not hard to see that Griffin has a decidedly anti-Nintendo bent, given the content of most of his posts... But we hardly need let that dissuade us from rejoicing in SMG's success. The game is quite fun, and I'm quite glad to see it's proving to be quite popular as well.

well I predicted SMG to outsell H3 prior to release of both games, so Mario still has a long way to go

 I thought the map design on SMG (the spherical world) was just so the camera wouldn't get screwed...

 I'm not anti Nintendo at all, i have owned more Nintendo systems and games then any other company.  i criticize them because i love them

Yep, Galaxy has only been released 2.5 months and is quickly catching up to sunshines lifetime sales. This game could easily beat mario 64's sales if its this successful. Galaxy is just amazing

It just wouldn't be a Galaxy thread without Griffin.

It's been what... 2.5 months since it's been out and it's already topped 5 million. I think it'll go on to sell double, probably triple that.

I find it hard to believe that the Wiimote "gimps" it considering that the main methods of controlling Mario are using the analog stick to move and pressing A to jump.

I guess this is the new fanboy trend, when a Wii game sells a lot, pretend that it's not good and claim that the Wiimote controls are bad even if it doesn'tctually make sense.

@ClaudeLv250, have you played SMG, if so then you would notice that the wii-mote is gimping the game. The bad camera and wii-mote go hand and hand with breaking the game.
