I believe the Dojo released information about where snapshots for Smash Bros would go... to the SD card.

2 gigs is quite a lot of room for one game's extra content. It's half a friggin DVD.

I actually commend Nintendo for not going the hard drive route. It's a waste for gamers who could care less about downloable content such as myself (like demo's or other useless media content).

It also encourages sloppiness as some developers (not naming names) tend to release buggy games too early and then release patches to fix them.

Ah yes the Microsoft Development Cycle:

Step 1: Does the Software run? YES!

Step 2: Release software

Step 3: IS there a Bug? YES!

Step 4: Wait 3 months

Step 5: Release Patch

Step 6: Go To Step 3

I strive to improve my living conditions by hoarding gold, food, and sometimes keys and potions. I love adventure, fighting, and particularly winning - especially when there's a prize at stake. I occasionally get lost inside buildings and can't find the exit. I need food badly. What Video Game Character Are You?

Well you can always not purchase a harddrive if you don't need one. Releasing one of letting us use our own wouldn't cause you any hard. You really think downloadable games like Wiiware and VC games are useless? Trailers and demos are cool too.

I never said VC games or upcoming Wiiware titles were useless. The beauty of those titles is they don't consume much space. I have two and a half pages of Wii channels and the internal 512MB isn't close to full. A single 2GB SD card practically quadruples what the Wii came standard with. Trailers, demos, extra content for games and other media content are the items that are quite useless. You want a demo... rent the title, go to a friends house, you want a trailer... go to the web.

If they do release a hard drive I won't be purchasing one, but for your sake I hope they release one. So you can store all those trailers and demos and use them a whole whopping one time.
