One other thing: while there are clearly more Nintendo and Sony fans on this site than fans of Xbox and PC, I don't think that fact alone explains the list. If you look at top 10 lists made by gaming sites and magazines over the past ten years, they are made up mostly of Nintendo, Sony and PC games. So the absence of PC games is unusual, but the absence of Xbox exclusives is not so strange. Apart from Halo, Xbox exclusives rarely appear on any "professional" lists.

We're still working on merging a lot of games so this should be sorted in the next few days

The lack of Panzer Dragoon and low number of Halo games still makes me a sad panda though.

I don't get the criticism... This list seems to fall in line with MANY other "Top 100/10" lists out there - mostly made by gaming sites or magazines. The top 3 is also the top 3 on metacritics, so it's not that far fetched.

Valkyria Chronicles? Halo is the only xbox franchise that could even be placed in the top 10 so not really. Halo CE should definitely at least be top 50 though, maybe 30. Don't even mention Gears, it's alright. This list sucks anyways though. Fallout 3? Skyrim? Oblivion? Silent Hill? wtf. I laughed when I saw Killzone 3 in it (it's a good game but almost every COD deserves it over it) speaking of COD. COD4? Black Ops? horrible list.

Well, this is my take for all those who think that disagreeing with that list is "anti-Nintendo" (oh boy) - any list out there that claims to be Top 100 Video Games of ALL Times that doesn't have on it at least Tetris and Pac-man (for starters) has disqualified itself by default.

And I won't even go into lack of so many genre defining games from the past (or whole genres for that matter) - which just paints pretty clear picture about demographics and overall game education around here.

The list looks a little different today. Halo: CE made the list! But it's at #92. BioShock, too, at #98.

God of War II is at #6, which seems awfully high.

It's #12 now. They are bouncing around so much. I am imagining a brawl going amongst the games in gaming world.
