In a welcome change of pace, Microsoft has today announced that a car pack is now available for Forza Horizon owners, but this time the content is free!

Available in all Xbox LIVE territories starting today, the Honda Challenge Car Pack for Forza Horizon features three cars, namely the 2013 Civic Si Coupe, the 2012 HPD Rally Fit and the 1986 Civic Si Coupe.

Here’s the official description of the pack:

“The star of the pack is the 2013 Honda Civic Si Coupe, whose big league 201-horsepower engine is paired to a freshened design that puts its looks on par with its performance.

“The HPD Rally Fit is a special B-Spec road racer, built by Honda Performance Development and battle-tested at Pike’s Peak. And the 1986 Honda Civic Si Coupe was the Japanese hot hatch that set the stage for Honda’s greatest performance front-drivers.”

All Forza games since Forza 2 had some free DLC cars. Also to all the people that own Forza Horizon the 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air is also available as free DLC.

yeah indeed, most of the time dlcs with cars of  only one manufacturer are free.

Yes in Forza 2 it was a Nissan Sentra and Altima not sure what it was in Forza 3 since I have the Ultimate Editon that comes with almost all the cars and in Forza 4 it was some Hyudai's.

Tried out all off the cars in free roam yesterday. Will upgrade them and try them out in some races next time I play the game. Almost completed the offline portion of the game the last showcase race hasn't appeared yet and I suck at the third third part of the outpost challenges so I doubt I will ever complete those.
