It says on the BBC website that the firm will not be accepting gift vouchers or issuing anymore....

They won't, and if you could still cash in loyalty points a voucher is probably the worst thing you could have spent it on.


I know, but it was only thing I could spend it on :(

Well, this sucks. I'm glad Grainger Games & CEX moved into my home town recently, otherwise there would only have been GAME to browse in my lunch hour!

I hope they can find a buyer. The high street would feel really weird without HMV on it.

I actually did my bit last week during the blue cross sale. Bought SSX & 30 Rock season 5 from them. They were the same price as they were online, so I thought I may as well support the physical store.

Hopefully at the very least they can turn online-only like Zavvi did. It's become one of my favourite websites to shop from recently.
