I will grant you that some on these forums are a bit on the sensitive side, but to be fair your comment is fairly heinous. The reality is that the Sony Defense Forces were a pack of satirical trolls. They basically made the most ignorant, child like, mean spirited comments on Sony's behalf. In a effort to make the brands fans look ridiculous. Now I am not saying there weren't a lot of ridiculous Sony fans once upon a time, but the Sony Defense Forces also propped them up and encouraged them. Where as a reasonable Sony fan would just get irate about the stupidity.

When you tell someone that they are a member of the Sony Defense Forces. You are really calling them a anti Sony Troll. If calling someone a Troll was bad enough, and I honestly don't know why people hate on Trolls so much. Every forums needs a few to keep things interesting. Calling a Sony fan a Troll that is intent on hurting both the brand and the fans. Has to be looked at as just plain awful. It is like calling a Christian a Satanist rather then a Sinner.

Yes other communities had some satire trolls, but never to the extent that Sony fans had to endure. The Sony Defense Forces became like a beast with a life all of its own. They basically twisted any pro argument made into a shit stain. If a pro Sony voice pointed out that folding at home was a positive. One of them would say something like fuck games I am here to cure cancer. Then another would jump on board, and say something like anti Sony is actually pro cancer, and then another one would jump on, and say something that was actually mind blowing in its pure evil.

Bottom line you shouldn't associate the current Sony fans on this site with that group of people. They did their worst to make genuine fans look like morons by bulk association.

OMG.. wtf now Im getting a whole article comment about it??.. HAHA gawd you ppl take things too seriously.. I dont know how you ppl survive the net..

For example the group you are referring to as SDF.. whotf were they? and why did they matter to you so much that you would even remember them.. u see? 

taking stuff like that too seriously affects your thinking and now you would actually get offended by being called one.. seriously? .. lol

Personally I thought the Sony Defense Forces were hilarious, but the Sony fans on these forums didn't see it that way, and that is why calling someone a member of the Sony Defense Force is a quick way to get yourself banned. Like it or not there are a lot of people on these forums that take things seriously, and they are sticklers for the rules. Honestly I couldn't care less if you decide to get yourself banned now. It was just a random act of kindness on my part to lay out the whole story for you.
