Do you really have to wait 2 minutes to go on line for COD4 on PS3? Or do you mean it seems like 2 minutes?

either that is a lie or your mate has crappy internet connection, i could get in instantly even in 3 in the morning in my ps3, been doing so these past 4 days.

uuuh if i remember correctly GTA IV was originallly sony exclusive but R* wanted it to be multiplatform because of the 360's higher user base so they asked sony out of their exclusive deal in return sony and R* made another exclusive deal.. some of which we know about and some we dont.. but in that deal i also agree that sony has in ink that the ps3 and 360 versions have to be released at the same time so thats what he was referring to

Nope. Rockstar tried initiating contact with Sony about exclusivity but at the time, Kutaragi wasn't accepting deals from Western developers for the PS3. So, Rockstar called Microsoft and it took off from there.

It was a pretty big deal at the time and there was a long article talking about Kutaragi's blunders with Western developers right around the time the PS3 launched.

nope you got it wrong sony let rockstar out of the gta exclusive deal..... i thought that was common knowledge by now..... sony had the gta franchise signed up a long time ago..

Then what about this? There's also a lot of this information going around, and it's a lot older than July of 2007, ove a year after GTA went multiplatform.

How is letting gta iv... GTA IV!.....  GTA IV!!!!!!  (ok you get my point) How is letting GTA IV go multiplatform a key move?? 

It's like Sony PR shovels crap right into your mouth and you just open up wide and eat it up.

No, it's perfectly logical.

In tomorrow's news, I expect Nintendo to sell the SSBB property and Game Arts to Microsoft for a bag of Funyuns and a 1995 Sidewinder controller in a key move, citing "we need to clean house and lose some excess baggage" in their reasons for doing so.
