Not too bad, as transition to next gen will be slow the PS360 will also play a signficant role in 2014 console marketshare.

That's a fair enough judgement, but it's still down 15-20% on this year, which should cause much conern (and that is best case scenario). I don't think games will push the PS3 really, and the Wii in 2011 showed a pricecut will only help for 6 or so weeks...before returning to 'normal'.

It's possible, of course, but I think 25% drops for both is more likely.

Never mind I was thinking in the perspective of a gamer. I ment in terms of the number of games we are getting but yea it is terrible from a business stand point. I didn't pay attention to the OP at all.

I don't think its time for a new gen just yet when some of the games out today look like they are still PS2 gen.

If developers like Hideo Kojima, and Naughty Dog can do this, then there is no excuse.

Those games do look unbelivably good; as good or better than we'll see on the new consoles for a while. But saying some games still look PS2 is just over-dramatic.
