Numbers speak for themselves, really. Things can only get worse this year, and in the end the 360 failed to break 10mil for the year. Very worrying signs, so is it now the time for a new generation? The 3DS shows there's still a market, by being up YoY, for example.

In my opinion, it's this November for the other consoles to come out, otherwise it's too late.

yep all signs are actually now indicating a 2013 release...and the latest hardware rumors are hinting and a pretty sweet rig too. Can't wait

The more powerful the better; hopefully Sony will have learnt from the PSV launch. Microsoft is a bit of an outsider though.

well with the WiiU now selling, PS vita having a price drop. and 3DS getting pokemon and monster hunter. and next gen consoles releasing next year, i can see overall console hardware being up this year

PS360 shouldn't be that much down this year with a pricecut, I still predict:

PS3 +-10m
360 +-8m

(give or take a few hundred K)

Not too bad, as transition to next gen will be slow the PS360 will also play a signficant role in 2014 console marketshare.
