The Witcher 3 date posted on Amazon is either a placeholder or the release date

Amazon may have given away the release date for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, if the September 30, 2014 date is accurate and not a placeholder. The only date provided for the title is “sometime next year” on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Regardless of whether it is accurate or not, you can pre-order the game through the link – and if it is accurate, you know what to buy me for my birthday. It’s probably just a placeholder, though. Namco just released this batch of The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt screenshots.

Now some are new and some are old. We tried to upload all of the images, but that turned out to be a very very bad idea. We nearly fried our servers. So if you want to see these screenshots click the button down below, it will redirect you to our Dropbox page where you can see all of the 64 screenshots.

Another thing that is very f*cked up is that Dropbox has a very annoying “compression thing” and it ruins the images. But if you click with the right click and select “View Original” you will see the full HD screenshot.

They really need to tone down that sharpening filter, overall these shots look worse than the previous batch. Possibly console screens lol.

Can't see the pics. I'm super excited for this game, and very happy that they went with their own engine.

After the recent threads, I doubt the console gamers (which I'm one) of this site will get it as a joke. They will get it as the "usual talk from the elitist PC users..." and then turn it into a fanboy war. Dark times are ahead of us.

Only in a couple of year the war will lose steam (pun intended) and jokes will be accepted.

Ok ok the fact that the new consoles really aren't that powerful is still probably a touchy subject.
