Has the Wii ever got 6 out of the top 10 before? I don't ever recall there being so many Wii titles at the top.

Yes, FishyJoe is has. Not much changes. Like PSP software being low, or PS3 and 360 games not selling a lot.
I have to admit. I think its being looked over due to Wii and Wiifits success. But CoD4 is about to break 100k possibly in a few weeks guys, unless DMC4 takes the wind out of its sails. I think that is a resounding success for a game like that in the Japanese market. Hats off to Infinity Ward and the PS3. Its nothing massively substantial, but its still nice to see.
MHP2 is looking like DS software. Jumping back into the top 10 so long after its release date. And its funny watching Layton 1 keep running running running away from its sequel Layton 2!
7.Layton 2 17000(714000)
15.Layton 1 10000(813000)
Layton 2 is starting to finally close in, getting within 100k, but Layton 1 keeps holding on, now selling over 50% of what its sequel is doing weekly staying just out of reach. Havent seen this kind of behavior from a game and its sequel since Brain Training and Brain Training 2 I believe.
Dragon Quest for DS has now sold more copies than that same remake did on the PS2. That is very very substantial, and very telling. These remakes are printing money for SQEnix. Im really starting to think, at this pace they wont care if FF13 doesnt light the charts up on PS3. Can you imagine how much money they have made off of the DS this last year? That has to be funding FF13 in some way. The DQ remake isnt even a 3d remake, it looks so slapped together its ridiculous. Then goes on to do 1.2 million in Japan alone. Nonsense.
Wiifit sold 15k more this week than last week. Games dont normally do that a month after release unless there are supply issues constraining the game. Its also selling more per week than the Wii console itself. Brawl and Wiifit will carry the Wii in Japan until Kart hits Japan likely in March. That will just sustain the Wii for the entire quarter in Japan.
Finally with Brawl and DMC4 launching on the same day. Im interested in seeing if they effect the sales of one another, and if either of them move a substantial amount of hardware for any of the 3 consoles.
