So yeah, If you are into visual novel and puzzles the game is great for you. I will recommend tough to play first 999 (DS) since this is a sequel and while you will understand most of the story of this game, you will miss some major details.

I stopped playing 999 part way through because I'm really bad with the horror genre... I ended up watching the ending videos on youtube and reading spoilers... Hahaha. :( Is Virtue's last reward more of the same? 

Oh that's sad, I never really see 999 as an horror game, altough it does have its moments. Virtue's is more or less the same, there are 24 different endings (which 10 are endings and the rest are game over scenes) and there are a couple of Game Over scenes that are kind of gruesome. So yeah, it's basically the same as 999

I checked game.co.uk page and the game is in stock. I order usually on eBay and my copy of Virtue's I orderer from estarland.com but I think it's only for US 3DSs
