tbone51, I deleted the PM you sent me thrice, because I can't open it, if you don't put any letters in the subject title. The little I could read suggested that you want players to move into rooms #4 and #5 after round 1 has ended, but do we really need new rooms for every round? If we only use three rooms, then it will be more convenient for at least some players. Most importantly, you have to post all the room numbers in the original post of this thread.

on a side note, if everybody uses a room once then it'll show exact score get me?

your right but wit one day left of the tourny (half a day) i cant reach out to everybody in time!!! I got a better idea, i'll post the communitys for Round 2 in the opening and point out 1,4 place go to bracket 5 and 2,3 place to bracket 6!!!

The rules are pretty straightforward and everyone who participates in the tournament is going to read this thread. I mean, come on. You don't have to spam people's mailboxes. Put everything important (room numbers and rules) in the OP of this thread and be done with it.

on a side note, if everybody uses a room once then it'll show exact score get me?

Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't it only show the scores of the top 3? That's why I suggested to have people who act as hosts and then post the rankings in this thread (scores being unneeded, because it's a straightforward elimination contest; you are either in the top 4 or you aren't). Also, next week when you want to run another tournament, are you going to create all new rooms once again? And the week afterwards and so on and so forth?

Three rooms are enough, if everyone plays by the rules.

ok, next week we will keep it at 4 rooms... I did this in my KIU tourny writng down with points!!! Anyway TheKingofRedLions is A Great Help so just write down top 4!!! I will pm TheKingofRedLions now to write down tne top 4 as well.. Chec the op one more time and tell me if everythings in good shape

I had a look at your first KI:U tournament thread and your database. I hope you don't make a new thread for every MK7 tournament. Just keep using this thread, if you make this a weekly thing.

What's still missing in your OP are the numbers of the rooms you are going to use for this tournament. Keep it at three rooms. I can't say it often enough: We don't need more than three.

If you'd like to keep an ongoing score for the MK7 tournaments, I offer you to write a Google doc which you can link to in your OP. But it won't be the points attained in the races that will be tallied up, rather points will be assigned to the finalists of the tournament. The eight best players will receive, in descending order: 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 points. This means the people who finished in #5-8 in round 3 will receive 4, 3, 2, 1 points and the four players in round 4 will receive 10, 8, 6, 5 points, according to their positions. Everyone who didn't make it into round 3 will simply get a DNF (did not finish, equals 0 points) in this Google doc. In order to keep track of the amount of tournaments everyone played, the hosts need to post the full rankings of each GP, not just the top 4. Of course, this is just a rough suggestion.

Im gonna keep this thread for MK7! This is the 1st Tournament of MK7 and we have 21 racers, i'll need 4 rooms so the max will be 32 racers. Next week might be bigger, i got 8 people who wanted to join but cant cuz of the time!!! Anyway im changing things up. I like your thinkin so if you could help especially with MK7 and Hosting it'll be much appreciated!!! Also should we have a thread (Just one) for Places and Postions? Suggestions?

Gonna get some Zzzzz .... See ya tomorrow!

so im in brac2 but if i win through and end up in room1 how will i know the code to get in???

does it feel like this tournament just got more complicated?

Since I still haven't aquired the game, let alone a 3DS.., I only have one question...

Is there any way an outsider can view these races? I really want to see the highlights like any cable provider would do for the Grand Prix races. Heck I wouldn't even care if it's not live.

I haven't been following this thread, so I don't know this question was already answered. If so, then my sincere apologies.

Just a quick note, tbone has my Mii name down as cityofnoobs when actually my mii name is cityofnoob (no s) the full name doesnt fit. Not sure if its a big deal or anything but figured I would mention it just in case.
