Every time I try to play Kid Icarus online, it turns up error code 006-0612. I have no other problems with my 3DS's internet connection, buying games on eShop works fine, Spotpass works fine. I have no other 3DS games with online functions to test this issue with, only Kid Icarus: Uprising.

What does Nintendo have to say about the error? "Make sure that the Nintendo 3DS system is within 30 feet of the wireless access point and facing in its general direction."

Pic related, it is my 3DS literally leaning against my Wifi router.

Nintendo's only other advice? "Make sure that any other interfering devices, such as microwaves and cordless phones, are turned off." You serious Nintendo? Cordless phones? Really?

Anyone have any tips?

Same thing happened to me with all my DS and 3DS games (also while being able to connect to the store and web browser). And on Xbox Live I could only connect with certain users, even excluding some from my own country. Sad thing is the problem wasn't solved until I got a new router with faster connection (jumped from ~54Mbit/s to 72) than the previous one. I looked up some solutions long ago, but all I could find was some complex solutions that I either failed or never bothered trying out...
