I decided to create a thread to countdown to Nintendo's year end shipment target. This chart assumes that Nintendo would need to sell a minimum of 4.5 million systems to end users in order to make their 5.5 million shipment target.

Nice work.  Be awesome to see a Notes column that shows known major game releases :p.   3DS 17 million great wall to climb also getting a little uncomfortably close in time and without MH4.

It won't. Next week Wii U should increase by atleast 20% in Japan with New Year holiday sales! :) Thank god for Japan and their Nintendo love

I think it will miss it but not by too much. If we go by the "4.5m sold to reach the 5.5m shipped" theory, then I think it'll be around 4.2m sold for the week ending March.

Wii U will have a good set of titles coming this quarter: Rayman Legends, Lego City, MH3 (for EU and US), Aliens, Sing Party and Ninja Gaiden 3. Let`s see if it`s enought to keep sales steady.
