So with Christmas this year I spent alot! With a new console (Wii U) and upgrading to an XL 3DS, I realized i spent so much!!! But..... I saved alot too. Infact a couple hundred when its all said and done!!!

Thats $200 right there! Im sure i did more but cant remember lol!
The biggest catches I made were the Far Cry Complete Pack with Far Cry, Far Cry 2 Fortunes Edition and Far Cry 3 Deluxe Edition for 6,75€ and a Borderlands 2 Fourpack for 4,65€. All in all I bought stuff worth around 500€ (not MSRP but "normal" prices at this years christmas) and payed around 150€ according to my calculations.
An example for the prices I used to compare, I bought Nintendo Land for 31,20€ (the most expensive single game I bought this year). To blow up the 500€ number even more I could have used the 59,99€ MSRP, but I compared it to the Amazon.de price at that time which was 47,95€. Same with all the Indie games I bought. The Humble Bundle 7 was a huge saving even comparing it to the steam winter sale prices.
Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.
The only thing I consider saving is money not spent so...

Yes, one was a Gamestop pricing mistake and the other was a Gamersgate one. Other good deals I had were 2 keys of Sleeping Dogs for about 5€ each and Scribblenauts Unlimited for 5,70€ is pretty sweet too, considering that the game only releases in two months over here.

Well I saved $100 on a computer monitor (which I use for my 360 because the graphics are about ten times better than on my 1080p HDTV), about $200 on games, about $40 on X-mini speakers, and $30 on a 360 headset. I'm sure I saved on a few other things as well.
