I usually regret turning on G4tv and their video game programs don't usually offer me a whole lot and I'd rather go to IGN (or anywhere else) for news or pretty much anything else.
Now I do like Gametrailers, lol go figure.

I'll be on my feet ranting on about "why do developers feel the need to put a really hard mission in without the option to retry straight away?" just to turn it off and go into "it's not going back on again" only to put it on a couple of hours later and by this time the wife will sit in the bedroom and not want to be around me when playing this game. Thats not the developers fault they chose to adopt that game style - it's mine Enjoyed the banter though |

But between those two, i would say IGN

IGN: A 7-paragraph review on the game describing every detail & their opinion on it, then a carefully considered score on the game.
X-play: 12 lame jokes & a random number between 1 & 5.

Oh my god, you just put into words exactly what I was thinking. The appeal of G4TV is pointless to me because of all that. There is no sensible kind of review, but comments and remarks that they think is funny followed by a number.
At least I put gametrailers up there more than X-play from G4.
Seriously, G4 is the most immature tv channel on television. Coming from a 14-year-old, that's pretty harsh, yet true.
