I can only think of one recent example, but I know there are many more. Seems many companies are not willing to risk bringing old games to consoles so they bring them to ios or other mobile markets.
A recent example would be Geomon. May be spelled wrong. I know there are many more examples. Maybe we should be happy mobile is so popular or we may have never had a chance to see some of these properties again.
Almost seems like the mobile market has saved gaming. Console developers have done nothing but destroy it. Free to play, downloadable content, online, etc. for a 60 dollar game.
Thank you mobile market!

Actually, this re-release of old games on mobile devices has caused a false sense of low development costs.
And they have done the same thing with virtual consoles.
As far as so many games being released and not making money, everyone thinks they will be the next Rivio.
Not sure what the answer is, though I doubt that on-game ads is the answer.
