Forums - Gaming - Any Artists/Writers on this site?

Everyone here obviously likes/loves there video games on this site or what the **** would you be doing here lol, Anyway is there anybody here that can draw or write a story/comic/etc????

Want to see how many of you share another passion other than video games here...

It can be just wanting to write a story on games, help with ideas, maybe some people like comics/manga and would like to draw/write one out!

Sooo dont be shy and discuss

I'm mostly into writing scripts, either for a film or video game. I have little interest in writing a book. Tada.

Anyone that wants to write a book must be in love withh writing! (have passion for it) Thats too much for me... I like manga alot and i would love to write a story.... But hey unless its actually a book, i need an artist!!! Video games would be pretty badass to write also!!!

Writing is more or less my secondary hobby. I've been trapped in the creative void that is fan-fiction for years, however.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

yea i write stories, of characters in my head while imagining how i'd create them as games. mostly action RPG'S, but other genre as well.

other then that, my mind races with ideas for marketing and running a business in general. business, marketing, and management are all i know.

other then sarcasm, and simple logic.

I paint in both oils and using a Wacom with Photoshop's brush engine. I worked in black and white for a very long time, mostly in pencils, but somewhat in color pencils/pastels too. I started in digital about 10 years ago when I was more of a hobbyist. See: avatar

I used to write short stories on a typewriter we owned a long time ago when we didn't have computers. (Nice thing about having and using a typewriter, I already could find the keys and was pretty fast before we got a computer and I had to take Keyboarding in school.) I stopped writing a few years later because I saw so many problems with my writing and really didn't have much passionto continue it as a creative tool. I sometimes can't make up my mind with what direction to go with themes, but that's not such a problem with pictures as long as you plan enough the 'feel' or 'point' of the image.

With writing I get so lost in the details. Critics can tear apart my work in art and I can generally appreciate and see their perspective. When someone tears apart my writing, I guess I can't see the whole picture (har har) for all the words so it's way more frustrating...Art is more relaxing lol...so I stopped years ago. Otherwise I wrote a lot and drew a lot, even in class where teachers would be annoyed but impressed at the same time...

My hubby writes very well though. If I ever needed a writer for a story, I wouldn't need to go very far lol...

When I was younger, most of my time was spent playing videogames to the point my family complained frequently lol... but I did take breaks and go outside. LOL Somehow I found time for friends inbetween all that. I usually liked people more if they played games too, because then I had someone to play with. Outside of that, drawing and writing. It probably made my parent's happy I wasn't just interested in videogames and playing in dirt... they probably thought I was a lesbian.

I'm a piss artist; dunno if that counts.

See I have a passion for story telling, not word writing. When selecting a medium to tell my stories through I find no point in using a standard novel.

OH I'm an artist alright, a very BAD one.

i'm writing stories and novels, mostly science fiction, some horror and fantasy

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
