Some people just have too much time on their hands, if he grew up hungry as shit then he'll eat whatever he can get his hands on including all the meats! :) I'm also pro-cannibalism if we have nothing left to eat for survival for as long as it's fully cooked. The problem is also if all we eat only plants and don't touch animals, we'd run into another problem which would result in overall lower vegetation on the planet which would fuck our human eco system which would end result in pro-hunting and meat eating lol. I think we have a pretty good balance so far.

You'll also excuse me if I don't care about cows being raped by metal insertions if it gives people jobs and give grown ups something to drink since we don't exactly want to suck on our women's tits after they got a baby in them, goat milk is better than cow milk BTW, we should just go that route in the masses IMO.

Are you people really that poorly informed!?

I CAN LIVE ALL YEAR ROUND on 10 square meters of land!

DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY RESOURCES A SINGLE KG OF STEAK REQUIRES!!?

(I'm screaming because you wouldn't hear me otherwise)

I don't use a text to speech program but even if I did most don't distinguish between capital letters and small letters in terms of the volume produced, 10 square meters of land is actually a fair enough amount btw given how efficient farms are now with their use of land to feed the 6billion people each year, would need 60billion square meters for your diet for each person. This is of course not including the obvious things such as irrigation and trees needed for wood to grow the tools you must be using out there on your plot, of course you wouldn't use a wooden bucket to water them would you so you'd need some plastic plant on that 10meter plot, gonna get pretty tight.

I must say btw each time you start a sentence with "oh you humans are all such..." I can't help but read it as Edward Cullin would talking to bella :<

Like i said watch the video and you will see how it is wrong with facts to back it up. i came here to post the video not to repeat whats being said in it. if you dont want to watch the video please leave the thread.

I don't need to watch the video. It's nothing I havent heard before or don't know. I gave it a shot. The first thing he said was he was there to talk about the oldest and strongest addiction... he ruined his shot.

So you dont crave meat? if so why do you eat it? every protien you can get from milk you can get alot more from eating healtier foods so if not a craving why do you eat meat?.

whoaaaaaaaaaa are you now suggesting not milking dairy cows? Dear lord and you talk of animal cruelty what do you think would happen to those animals which have a perfectly happy life if you don't milk them?!

edit - also milk isn't a meat, just sayin

That was meant to be meat!. but also the cow milk your drinking most likely also isnt good for you. you do know your drinking cow milk from infected cows with blistors and shit on their tits thats also being sucked into your milk??. do you really think them machines sucking on them all the time doesnt give them infections etc? and do you also think when them machines are then sucking the shit out of them blistors and infections thats not going into your milk?

Also this is pretty new

New MRSA superbug strain found in UK milk! http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/health/new-mrsa-superbug-strain-found-in-uk-milk-16254417.html

So really unless you go to the farm itself and you see its cows are being cared for good and milked proper and feed proper i bet 70-80% of the milk out there atm is also not good for you.

why yes, of the very few people who drink cows milk I have heard that 70-80% of them have all died now because of milk related illness, please refrain from extracting your arguments directly from the thing you are sitting on tho, please.

Well you might not of heard of 70-80% of people dying from cows milk or meat i bet you know of a lot of people with diabetes or cancer etc. true alot of that stuff can come from other shit such as smoking fags, drinking beer etc etc. But fact is most of the biggiest problems such as Heart problems, Diabetes, Cancer etc etc also come from the meat and the milk and the eggs you eat.

before you get that food them cows chickens etc etc are pumped full of antibiotics etc etc to stop them from getting infection and disease and most of that shit is then also going into your system.

9 uses of "Etc." in 3 sentences, Impressed.

As for what you did type Diabetes type 1 is mostly attributed to people eating too much sweet things, it causes the pancrease to increase its production of insulin to a fairly rapid rate, the bodys own white blood cells see this increase and attribute it to a spreading infection and kill off the islets of langerhans which is where the Insulin is being made. It is this then gained immunity to these cells which your body maintains being on of the reasons a person can't have a pancrease transplant, much like you can't get another cold while your white blood cells know how to kill it. Now when it comes to this argument I don't know a whole host of Sugary sweet animals? Sugar beets however are almost completely sugar! and they're vegatables too.

Cancer can be caused by a great number of things, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pteridium_aquilinum the reason for the high rates of stomach cancer this fern plant infact http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carcinogen here is a list of Carcinogens and while burning meat products is on there because of the carbon on your food the same thing is found on potato chips which are overdone. Damn potatos!

Heart problems can be caused by pretty much anything, you can be born with them or you could have a stressful job, as for being caused by fatty foods, sure you could say that too much pork will indeed make you fat, but too much of anything is bad, too much water and you'll drown in it, by definition "too much" is the issue with any statement, there are perfectly fit athletes who are meat eaters, infact of all the athletes I know I can only think of Daniel Bryant of WWE who is a vegan or who likes to go on about it.

Other than the massive dangers of plants I've pointed out above tho, you'll find a great number of things such as cancer, heart disease and the onset of type 2 diabetes are mostly being caused simply by us living longer, I recently had to attend my uncles funeral, a man who was 40years old, but he was talked about being taken away so young from us by it... Living to 80-90 and beyond years old is not what the human bodys were designed to do originally, a good deal of what happens to us as we are over double our natural expiry date can not really be suprising to be very nasty. I know I wouldn't touch milk 40 years after it was over it's sell by date... it could have come from a diseased teet!

I've been researching this topic in depth for over 8 years.

You really don't know what you are talking about at all. This is the problem with these internet forums - you can't really be exposed for the all-knowing-fool you are and can just blindly spew your shit in all directions. Consequently, legions of similarly mindless drones start attaching weight to your words.

Ok, let's get something short enough so the average attention span can actually take it in.

From the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition: ( http://ajcn.nutrition.org/content/78/3/660S.long )

"The meat-based food system requires more energy, land, and water resources than the lactoovovegetarian diet. In this limited sense, the lactoovovegetarian diet is more sustainable than the average American meat-based diet."

Well after watching the full video BEFORE reading all the comments, it is clear who has watched it and who hasn't as the points raised by these people are answered in the video.

i.e herbivore vs carnivore animals, more than 50% of our food grains used to feed the animals instead of humans etc..

The guy does raise some good points and I got nothing wrong with him. He even showed some meat replacements products that taste like meat. Saying that I have never seen them in my local supermarkets so can't comment how they taste.

I will however still continue eating meat until the day one of these other alternatives tastes as good as meat and is easy to buy as it is to get a cut of meat.

All the animal cruelty parts in that video has been seen my many people before via news channels. Sure what they do is wrong but I don't think everyone treats the animals that way. I would support tougher laws on idiots.

If someone wants to eat meat but he has this attitude, then that's fine with me. It's the brainless baffoons (not very hard to see them on this thread) that deserve to be embarressed for their idiocy.

In other words, I respect the level-headedness of your post.

(just before I get labled a fanatic for my rather outspoken {though I decree deserved} harshness on this thread)

No it isn't. You (like so many others) haven't actually thought this through have you? Let me show you (this doesn't take much mental prowess btw):

- An American football field is: 5,400 m2 That means you could PERMANENTLY feed 540 persons by proper utilization of that space.

Still think that's big?

- I live in South Africa. My country has a surface area of 1.2 x 10^12 squared meters. That means you could feed 100 EARTH POPULATIONS with agricultural land of that size.

(I understand that these kind of raw calculations ignore many statistical considerations, but they are so striking in themselves that I've left them like this - I do like pure, hard-hitting numbers)

I don't watch gay movies about vampires just because they're popular. Hence I didn't assimilate this style from your fictitious "Edward".

What if animals start to evolve to hate, and kill humans. I'm sure another 1000 years of this will do that.
