The 3DS isn't quite as popular in NA and EU as it is in Japan. So we can't really judge how it will fare outside of Japan. But I don't believe New Leaf will sell more than Wild World.
New Leaf adds more to the series than anything to date. They just made up from taking the VC games out of the Animal Crossing (did because they started reselling the classic games on GBA, e-reader, VC/e shop, etc) with adding these new additions to the gameplay. Perhaps I might have a little too much faith in this game but deep down I know this is going to sell. Want another system seller for the 3DS? Here you have it.
