That makes about as much sense as saying that a films total gross doesn't matter, and only the first weekend is an indication of how strong it performs. 


I don't think dengle was saying that the total film gross didn't matter but I think he was saying that its 31st week gross doesn't matter becuase its so miniscule and does little to increase the total film gross. 

Unless its something like the Hurtlocker.


Well if we were talking about PS3/XBOX selling 2 million consoles next year maybe he'd be right, but when both console are still selling aroud 10 million units per year than of course it matters.

Yeah pretty much. I agree 100% with this. 

The only reason people say it isn't next gen is because of its graphical capabilities, or lack thereof.  However, all of those people saying that do know, in truth, that it is Nintendo's next gen offering.  Any comparisons made with its sales numbers, ESPECIALLY marketshare, will be made with the PS4 and NeXbox.

I'm reading through this thread mostly for - you know - fun.

But I just want to say that yours is probably one of a handful of really well put together posts (imo) :)

Christmas 2012. I read this thread.

If someone random, a complete stranger, for whatever reason - someone who knew little about vgchartz - were to ask me "what is this vgchartz forum thing? And what do they do there?"

I would tell them to read this thread. It's like a highlights reel/compilation episode of vgchartz. With spirited performances from its key characters.

Or maybe its Christmas. And I'm a little tired and emotional.
