I currently use my WiiU for pretty much everything. I play games on it, I watch Youtube-Videos, read mangas, watch anime, check emails and generally do all my surfing with the WiiU. I now noticed that I actually didn't turn on my television in the last two weeks, except when playing NSMBU with my sister.

How much of your time do you still spend on your television?

EDIT: I changed the poll, as a result all previous votes are lost. I'm sorry

I only normally play NSMBU without the TV, mainly because I found that I would focus on the gamepad as opposed to the TV.

COD occasionally, but normally the TV is my ideal option.

All my other games (ZombiU, Nintendoland & Batman) need the TV.

I'd say mostly with the TV, considering I use Netflix quite a bit. However, when I play NSMBU, Assassin's Creed 3, or ME3, I usually do it solely on the GamePad, and use the TV for something else.

I think Nintendo has done a great job with the gamepad. I'll have to travel much in the next three years, the gamepad allows me to play and surf even if the room has no television^^

Barely any time
only while playing Zombi

I'd like a "I don't have a Wii U yet" option, cause I'd love to see the results.

I'd really like to edit the poll, but the forum currently doesn't let me. I promise you to try it again later, though :D

It depends on the games you're playing or applications you're using.

For Assassin's Creed 3, I've spent about 5% playing on the TV and 95% on the GamePad. Playing AC3 with Off-TV Play is just awesome.

Same goes to NSMB.U.

With ZombiU, it has to be 100% on the TV 'cause it requires the tv to play it, being the GamePad as your second screen.

Same goes to NintendoLand, but some games like Pikmin Adventures and Zelda: Battle Quest doesn't realy require the TV to play those games; just on the GamePad.

For Internet use, watching a a movie, tv show, YouTube checking stuff on Miiverse, etc, I would say an average of 50%.

Wii U Demos in *FPS* View  ;)

games 95% tv
browsing and mii verse 75% game pad
youtube 100% tv
there is also overlap since I browse on the pad while the kids watch youtube on the tv.
