I have to say its quite irritating that they don't get the same 3rd party support. And to answer your question I'm over it. But there's a bigger question - - - Nintendo has noticed this problem, and though they have made moves, they haven't really shown and 3rd party system sellers yet. The big question is, if Nintendo fails to get BIG 3rd party support for the Wii U, what will they do? One more question, how can Nintendo win back 3rd parties without money?

They're doing it already and from what ive seen they are doing a decent job of it, problem is that they are a few years late to the party. Most people have bought other systems for 3rd party games. I mean they went 3 whole GENS with bad to mediocore support, what are people supposed to do? NOT get PS/Xbox/PC to play those games? They could but then they would have to understand they are putting themselves in a position where they are going to miss stuff.

Perhaps this is where the Bayonetta 2 debacle fits in. Perhaps Nintendo needs not only multiplat, but exclusive games to make their console more elusive and I have a feeling they got more of this up their sleeves. I think they can pull it off. It's just a matter of what and when.

You have more faith than i do, the Bayonetta thing was different its not like there are a slew of IPs that they can or will just bring to life, IMHO the days of 3rd party exclusives are going away anyway, not matter what anyone tries to do, I could be wrong.

Going away? The PS3 pratcically lived on those. Heavy Rain, Uncharted, Resistance, God of War, inFAMOUS, LBP, I could go on and on. 360 also had its fair shair. Halo is pretty big too albeit it being 2nd party but the point is exclusives live strong.

But I'm a big N fan. If I don't have faith then I have nothing to look foward too!

No.

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Hm, I'm happy with what they do. Sure, they could try to get all 3rd parties so they are not the "outsider" but there are also a lot of exclusives from non-Nintendo studios that I love. But that's because of my "weird" taste in games.
For Wii I'm happy with the Nintendo games, Muramasa, MadWorld, Little King's Story, etc. I don't need any sports game or fps.

If you actually read what i wrote i said THIRD party exclusives, every game you just mentioned was FIRST party.

it happens sometimes

Haven't read the rest of the thread but thought I'd point out that imo the Wii did have decent third party support. What it missed out on in terms of multiplatform titles it more than made up with some excellent exclusives. And contrary to popular belief third parties did pretty well out of the Wii platform in terms of profits gained from sales due to the much lower development and publishing costs.

Just to put things into perspective, when the Wii and PS3 launched in 2006 a PS3 dev kit would have cost publishers and developers £18,000 and a Wii dev kit cost £2000. That's almost ten times as much, I was pretty gobsmacked when one of the guys in Mastering told me whilst I was working at Eidos as a tester when I asked him.

And you fork out that sort of money and you don't even own the thing lol. :Oo
