Not really, his real job is provding actual investor advice (stock info and the like) and he's actually pretty good at that. He just throws off-the-cuff predicitons on everything else more or less for attention.

I'm guessing he wasn't telling people to buy Nintendo stock?

If he doesn't want to be mocked for his predictions he shouldn't make them in the first place to be honest.

Analysts don't necessarily release information to the public that they actually believe. They will release information that suits their interests, which may be very different than what they believe.

It's not like he's predicting something that won't happen.
