it keeps freezing at the main menu... i am gonna take it down EB Games tomorrow to either exchange it, or get them to send it to Nintendo do get repaired... to be honest i much rather nintendo repairing it then exchanging for a nintendo console because this wiiu had all my Wii Data in it. Hmm. I would expect Wii U fail rate to be very low, considering it's nowhere near being cutting edge. Hope they work this out.

Aww man that stinks =/ I hope Nintendo is able to back up your data for you. My console only froze on me once while playing Nintendo Land, but after that its been fine so far.

That sucks man, you are the first person I heard with a dead Wii U. Send it Nintendo they should send a new one or repair it.

I suggest you deal with Nintendo directly without EB games. I have not ever had my system freeze but I did have a deal pixel on my gamepad and sent it in for repair. The whole process took exactly one week from when I sent it in. They actually stated on the form that I got back that they were unable to replicate the problem I was experiencing (they couldn't see the dead pixel, it only showed in dark areas) but they replaced the gamepad anyway.

You're doing it wrong. My WiiU is gathering dust just fine.

I blame the shitty youtube app. because i touched it and when i was performing an update on the application, it gave me an error message so i closed the app, and i turned my WiiU off and when i decided to go back on my WiiU, it freezed ever since.
