"Something like 25% to 50% haven't opened their wiiu" Oh yah, you know that? Where's your data? Oh...you just randomly stated nonsense as if it were fact lol. Don't reply to a comment unless you have facts to back it up. You're obviously making things up, pulling random numbers out of thin air. No offense there, man. |
No, I understand the concept of seasonal shopping trends and can read a calendar ...
Last year in the United states 53% of XBox 360, 44% of Wii systems, and 43% of PS3 systems were sold in the months of November and December; the XBox 360 was selling at 575%, the Wii at 405%, and the PS3 at 378% the rate they had over the previous 10 months. This exact same trend happens every year across most major products as people buy gifts for family and friends at Christmas. With the Wii U being a new system with a lot of early adopter interest, it is unrealistic to expect that the 75%+ of systems purchased as gifts (as the historical trend would indicate) would necessarily apply to the Wii U but it is still fair to say that a very large portion were purchased as gifts (probably in the 25% to 50% range).
This thread is trash, and i'm locking it.
And the next post i see from you that isn't a constructive contribution, you're getting banned.
