Just picked up a 3DS-XL for my Son and I.  We got it for $159.99 Mario Kart Bundle, price matched Best Buys $40.00 off sale at Wal*Mart when best buy sold out.

anywho....

We couldn't wait till Christmas so we opened it up and noticed that the back plate, on the top on both sides is flimsy, like it's not snug up against the unit, you can notice it when your holding it, your fingers keep touching it as if it's about to pop off, but the screws keep it in place, is this normal?

2: we tried playing Super Mario DS to test out the BC but it did not recognize the game, nothing happens when it's inserted, but it works with other DS games we try, and SM-DS works in out DS-Lite, is that normal?

C: When is FlipNote Memo coming out for it? Son really wants it and after him explaining it to me, I really want it....

5: What games should I get? any cool SEGA games out?

sounds like u got a faulty product. Shinobi and Sonic Generations are decent Sega games for 3DS

Get KIU (kid icarus), its a fun game and IMO best game on 3DS this year! And it has a good level meter so if your son has trouble he can lower the level significantly. Also has best multiplayer online, so make sure you go get one copy! I got two for me and my little bro.

I returned the 3DS XL for a new one and the back panel is still lose on one side, but New Super Mario Brothers DS works now!

Also whats up with the Eshop, I can't play games I bought on my Wii? and the selection is kind of lacking.

Also how do I delete stuff like the Dinosaur video thing?
