this game is going to bomb hard

i'd hate to think so. it would suck to think insomniac's lost its touch. i like wht i've seen so far. i'm not sure wht the big deal is? if anything i would focus on a single player game with this focus. i think it fits best.

Something about a study focus (I.e. E.A. Made them change the game.). Though that could just have been the game's style.

can i be nieve for a second and say that may not be the case, Insomniac may be wantng to step out of wht they know, and try something different for them?

also low post count is the reason i sisn't make this thread yesterday

Could be.  I have no proof and I'm too lazy to check, but the rumblings on the forums was that Insomniac said that due to a study focus on what people want, they've changed the style of the game.

yea i can see a focus group changing the focus of the game but not EA. well maybe EA given some advice, but not as a focus to get market attraction.

Insomniac hasn't found thier footing outside of R&C, and if everyone else sees like most posting in this thread, i can see Isomniac struggling for yr.'s to come on thier direction.

Only reason why I think it's actually EA demanding the changes is because EA tends to do that, meddling with their devs and then eventually closing them.  The "study" is most likely bull.  Or EA did the focus study and said to Insomniac "Hey look this is what people want and we have proof".  But that's all speculation.

I wish they would reinvent the whole game. Or deinvent it back to Overstrike.

yea, that could be the case, but Insomniac is still independent. there's no closing them, unless this and the other game they are working on with EA fail.

I'm not saying EA would close them, EA just has a track record of closing devs for not performing.  Lack of performance comes from EAs demands generally.

yea true. EA could be the reason Insomniac closes, if they are listening to EA higher ups, but i think Insomniac would let Sony buy them out first.

No I mean Insomniac isn't in any shape of closing down, I'm just saying EA would buy studios, force them to make stuff they shouldn't, fanbase leaves franchises, franchises sell poorly, EA closes studio.  Unless Insomniac invested too much money in Fuse, they'll be fine whether the game sells well or not.  I just personally think Insomniac needs to take a look at themselves.  They have the developers, Resistance 3 was a fantastic game, but something's a miss.  I think Fuse will be that game which will make them look at themselves and hopefully they'll figure out what they wanna do.

i still don't really know what this games even is. if it is good in co-op i can imagine that it could be fun even as such a generic game but i rather see people buying games like dead space 3 or gears for co-op and this game could flop really bad.

i couldn't agree more. insomniac would kill to stay independent lol.

If the co-op is fun I will totaly buy it

Changing Sony for EA? Damn, what got into them... Hope they come back home after this game bombs.
