This sounds really convenient, pretty much what sony is doing with the ps3 and vita but with stuff you already have or will. But I wonder if it'll be for sell on android or iphone later?

Also I really enjoy reading these news threads you post, they're really informative and constant. I do wonder, how do you find all this stuff?

This is the greatest thing ever. The only issue is that in order to play this way you have to buy 3 copies of the game. WP, Win8/Surface and Xbox.

Microsoft needs to do something about that. At least offer 1/2 off other platform purchases if its the same Microsoft account buying them.

Unless, the cloud service allows you to download it anywhere you log in... Kinda like steam when you switch computers

OT: Now they just need to let you use your 360(or 720?) controller with a Windows 8 tablet.

As an onwer of Windows 8, Windows Phone and Xbox, I can confirm that it hasn't worked like this so far with same titles released for these platforms, but maybe this will be the first. It's the first Xbox live title to allow for cross platform play. There have been a few indie titles that did it already...

I think they should make it a system where you buy on one and own it on all relevant platforms. Though in this case the developer should follow Starcraft 1's lead and let you spawn multiplayer clients for your friends.

Wow really cool! Now lets hope this trend continues. If it does I will DEFINITELY be dropping my iphone for a windows 8 phone come next year. I really think its a nifty idea and hope to see it continue
