Why? If you're saying the VA is bad...P4 is one of the best voiced acted games ever, especially when it comes to JRPGs. I don't know how well the new Chie and Teddie stack up but P4G's voice acting should still be fine.

Good review Jay and glad you enjoyed it. As for the music part you mentioned...I think just about everyone likes the music. Except certain SMT fans who hate Persona's music and only like the other SMT games and pre-P3 Persona soundtracks.

Now go play P3 (FES on PS3 preferably) and other SMT games (just be aware that the others aren't really like Persona though they share some similar themes as well as the demons, or Personas in the Persona games). TWEWY is also a good JRPG with a modern setting that you may like too.

You gotta be... If YOU are saying this is one of the best dubs ever, then where does the GTA series stand (just an example)? Dub localization shouldn't even exist to begin with. Not only because of how bad the actors usually are, but also because they have no contact with the game creators. Look at the following videos from Bioshock Infinite:

These are examples of good acting and, to reinforce my point, you can see how involved is Ken Levine with the actors, something you completely lose during dub localizations. If Persona 4 voices were a 9 out of 10, what's this game? You need to use the whole scale, not only 8 to 10.

You should at least fine a  clip from the vita version. That's not how chie sounds. They redid most of the voices for the golden version. Chie character is meant to be a little on the annoying side, mixed with cute. All the other voices are very good. At least play the game before you start bashing the voice acting. Because it very nice. 9.0 sounds like the score I'd give the voice acting.
