Welcome and feel free to add me as a friend I use the same handle for Xbox Live as I do on these forums. Honestly I think they went the right way with the wire rather then wireless. Wireless is just not that prevalent yet, and its nice to have no required additional hardware purchases required. The cord you get is twenty feet long so its not as if its terribly difficult to position the console in a friendly place. Power bricks suck in general on that I think everyone can agree.
I wasn't too keen on Dead Rising myself. The concept is pretty solid, but the saving system is almost criminal. The result was a little too much frustration. I can't say enough good things about Bioshock, Mass Effect, or Crackdown. There is a lot of replay in those titles.
