Half-Life and Grand Theft auto are the most overrated games ever for me.

Are you aware that your post is some kind of proof how overrated that game is?

Ha, I don't agree with you there. God of war is the best in the genre when it comes to Hack and slash.

Super Mario galaxy is one of the greatest games of all time. If you said Skyward sword, then I would agree with you.

And here we go again... it is just your opinion. I can't give my opinion, because some moderator who loves nintendo would ban me instantly.

I would not expect anything different from a sony fanboy, copy and paste an article that all the overrated games are Nintendo or Microsoft exclusives or at least not a Sony exclusive, and ask what the other users think.

Personally, all the games in the list are great games for me, neither of them are overrated and personally I think Wii Sports are underrated to say the least (80/100 in metascore for a really revolutionary game).

For me it's the original Mario games. My friends used to race over how fast they could beat the first one. I, however, did not care. At all. I owned three Mario games on the NES and SNES and didn't get over halfway in any of them. I didn't like the character, I didn't like the (lack of a) story, I didn't like hitting blocks over and over, the coins, any of it. There were so many better games on the NES. Give me Mega Man any day of the week. I will always believe that the Mario phenomenon is entirely due to the game being included with the system. I have nothing against Nintendo, but I look forward to the day when Mario is in decline so people can discover something different.

How do NES Mega Man games offer a better story than Super Mario? Dr. Willy make 8 robots, kill them all then kick Willy's ass, that's just as bare bones as "Rescue the princess".

That's not exactly true, as Mega Man did have a better story than Mario, as far as I know.  Still, I said that I think Mega Man is a better game, not that it has a better story, and that's mostly because, in my opinion, the game-play goes beyond just jumping on things.  You had to use a bit of intelligence and the way the worlds were structured gave you options.  Personally, I enjoyed Mega Man a LOT more than Mario.
