What I think is happening is that BigBoss has been captured and they are using the powers of Psycho Mantis to dive into his mind and get some information, and all what is happening about the whale, the flaming Pegasus and the killing is only happening in Snake´s mind. The one bandaged is the dude from the ground Zeroes trailer, and maybe in that illusion Psycho mantis is making him help snake so that he trusts him, and give them the information they want.

The arm thing most probably refers to something that actually happened in the game. Maybe he broke his arm before he was captured, so in the illusion it is like a prosthetic arm because he can not use it.

In Peace Walker, Bigboss has been already been cloned.

And also in MG1 and MG2, Bigboss has 2 arms, so nope.  What I think is that all of that is a freaking Illusion made by Psycho Mantis.

Damn that's a typical Kojima statement, lol. That doesn't have to mean separate games, it could mean Ground Zeroes is the prologue chapter to this game (MGS5) as Virtuous Mission was to MGS3, or the tanker mission was to MGS2.

Obviously this game is inspired by Moby Dick. The main character most likely lost his arm to a thing and spends the course of the game trying to kill that thing.

Ok, if I remember correctly peace walker taken place in in 1974, big boss was cloned in 1972, notice how bigboss looks younger in this trailer then in ground zero orignal trailer? Because he is in a coma, he is about to get clone, this game probaly going to show previous events of peace walker and after peace walker. And this isnt the first time metal gear did different time periods in a game, remember metal gear solid 2.

 Also more proof, notice how in ground zeroes orignal trailer he is all gray haired and in new trailer he has pure brown hair. 

Also heavenly, I probaly know more about the story then you will ever know so shut your pie hole :D
