Install base is irrelevant when it comes to generated income. That has been seen with wii, it had a huge install base and yet it did not sell as many copies of last cod as 360 or ps3 did.

I guess by your logic, publishers expected bigger income with for example cod:mw3 on wii than on 360. Obviously wii had bigger install base = it will bring more money! omg
