Damn you for making me want to buy your new console!

I didn't plan to get a Wii U for some time (if at all), but all those commercials, the pamphlets and my son's daily "I'd like to play the new Momonga Mario game" made me cave in.

I did not even think about buying today. I just went into my local Yamada Denki to check out their cameras and stuff. The video game aisle is really small there, but they had in fact a Wii U Premium model in stock and I just felt the urge to buy it (it looks like I got the last one).

For now the console's updating. I hope it doesn't take to long.

Did the same happen to anybody else here? (Not planning to buy and then caving in anyway...)

The game I got with it is Mario of course.

Happened to me with the Vita. That Black Friday bundle destroyed my will power completely.

I have no idea. It looks a bit like a mouse pad. I haven't opened the plastic foil yet. I'll check later and tell what it is.

I am planning on getting it, but according to my plan, only after the patch comes preinstalled and some of the bugs have been fixed up on the system. But ZombiU is really tempting me, and its not even that I like survival horror, its just that it looks fun, along with the rest of the Wii U lineup. Also at Metrotown they have a Wii U trial booth there with 7 Wii U's set up. I played mario there twice and it was also really fun.

I went to EB Games after and they had empty Wii U boxes on display and apparently those are only display items showing that the Wii U is released and they were already sold out, otherwise I would have totally bought one. (why don't they just have a giant cardboard cutout like every other product in the world... )

Right now I am so tempted to call up the local Future Shop on monday and ask if they have any premiums in stock...

Cool, Mario U is a good game, I'm sure you'll enjoy it, that or toss the expensive controller across the room.
