All bow to me the VGChartz current reigning 3DS prediction champion

Bet with tbone51: Pokeon X & pokemon Y will not sell more than 8 million in 2013

July 2009 daveJ saidTrue the wii has a large lead now but by 2017 the most likely result will be 1. ps3 2. xbox360 3. wii <-- wii's successor launched in 2011 effectively killing sales of the wii

Wow everything looks just about right! That's a welcome sight.

Although NPD doesn't track bundles right? If that's the case then the 360 might be a 100-200k undertracked here on Vgchartz.

NPD doesn't track software bundled with hardware... the hardware itself is counted... so 100k overtracked.

In fact NPD track what generate sales revenue... the software bundled into a hardware generate $0... so it's not counted... the hardware (bundled or not) is counted because it have a price and generate revenue.

The same about accessories... the Kinect bundled with X360 is not counted but the X360 is... the game bundled with Kinect is not counted but the Kinect is.

Now if you have a game and the game give you a accessory... the accessory in blundled with software... so the game is counted and the  accessory not.

OK got it. Overall Vgchartz did really good for this month.

Read again... I made a shadow edit to try explain better what is counted in NPD and what is not.

Halo 4: without bundle > 3m (Just USA)

http://www.vgchartz.com/game/51758/halo-4/USA/

http://www.vgchartz.com/article/250594/halo-franchise-reaches-50m-next-title-in-early-development/

According to NPD Halo 4 is undertracked (cause the 3.3 million didn't include bundles) but according to that article Halo 4 is overtracked.

This makes no sense!

Less than 88k sales for PASBR? That's horrible, Sony better start bundling it if they want to create a franchise.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!
