For the same reason people hated on Infinite Undiscoery. It doesn't make any sense.

Outside of the battle system the name is supposed to have major significance in the plot (the Flying Fairy part too). Though most people wouldn't know that...

Personally I think Bravely Default should have been the title. However as long as the game makes it over here I honestly couldn't care less what they name it.

I prefer Lee Brave Default :P
