Like I said I live in the US, it says the keys are region free. I know it's odd when something seems to good to be true but I've been playing the game for two days and I would think if there was something wrong with the key ubisoft would know and shut me down.

Havent played it yet but it looks like a promising new game.

i didn't say it doesn't work, just that they are made to sell in a cheaper market but they sell them to europeans/americans for a higher price as they are made for but still cheaper for us then. i remeber from a german forum where a lot of germans bought battlefield 3 keys very cheap which were made for india or something^^

Highly recommend Nvidia users to get the latest driver. The performance boost for Far Cry 3 is crazy.

@crissindahouse yea sorry wasn't responding to you, I have hear of that, the keys aren't meant for the US, UK etc but some sites are technically allowed to sell them there, not sure if this is one of those situations

No worries I believe you.  I was just being cautious because you are new on this site.  It syas you can't unlock this on steam though :(  That is the only sad part

Yea usually I prefer steam unlockable versions but since it already forces you to use uplay, having it in steam would just be adding an extra layer of DRM, plus it doesn't have steam achievements or anything.

You guys are silly, the only thing you get out of unlocking (a uplay game) with steam is steam tracking how long you played the game, other than that you can just make steam load the exe.

I did pay like $5 more the other day to get the steam version of Max Payne 3 but that has steam achievements and steam updates.
