I remember Seece and Kowen talking about 8m+, even 9m, among others. So yeah, it underperfored compared to expectations a bit. Not compared to my own though, because I never thought it could go that high.

I don't remember the expectations of people here. But I remember expecting both franchises to become comparable.

Both are basically the best third person shooters on their respective platform with arguably comparable production value. And both platforms have basically the same install base...

both are great franchises, but unless you have a bias, its not hard to see gears of war 3 is far more popular because of the online multi-player, like i said before show me a mass bundled game with out impressive sales.

Forza 4 is mass bundled, uncharted 3 isn't

Big difference, when you buy a core 360 console, you are basically forced to have forza 4, while you can buy other PS3 bundles such as assassins creed, need for speed and such.

They both were. PS3 just had more bundles to choose from. Doesnt change that Uncharted was the best selling one.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

uh its mass bundled, maybe not as much as forza but its diffently mass bundled and offers the best deal for the ps3.
