microsoft fans have excuses ready for everything. excuses for when a ps3 exclusive sells well. excuses when ps3 passes the 360. excuses about ps3 outselling 360 every week. even excuses of ps3 hitting 70m about how sony have lost compared to last gen. always excuses. basically no matter what, sony are losers to these guys and that wont change because they dont have a choice of which console to own, rather they're stuck with their platform of choice.

I don't have excuses. I'm rather impressed 360 managed to stay on top for so long seeing as to how they charge for LIVE and don't have blu-ray. AND also had to get past the RROD.

Before? Uncharted 3 was bundled from day 1.

Not to the degree that it was during holiday 2012, and you are aware of that. To me, it's really pointless to defend one bundle while sizing up another. Gears 3 had bundles, Uncharted 3 had more. Both still sold well. Any attempt to down-play that will only offer a complex and nothing more.

LOL not really, we know for a fact gears of war 3 sold 4 million units in 2 months from npd, add a million in europe and that's 5 million at full price with in 2 months, uncharted 3 bundles probably account for 40% of uncharted 3 sales, really no comparison.

Unless you know the number of consoles that were bundled with the game(s), this is a completely baseless and anecdotal assumption.

Unless you know the number of consoles that were bundled with the game(s), this is a completely baseless and anecdotal assumption.

i think its a good estimate, npd showed uncharted 3 at 700,000 in its first month of sales, the next month it was like 300,000, did'nt even make the top 10, i think its a very realistic esimate.

VGCHARTZ game sales is based on irrelevent infromation, the only factual evidence we have is chart track and npd and based on that gears of war 3 smokes uncharted 3 in popularity.

VGCHARTZ game sales is based on irrelevent infromation, the only factual evidence we have is chart track and npd and based on that gears of war 3 smokes uncharted 3 in popularity. 

Hum... based on VGChartz numbers (I know, they're irrelevent, right? So please do provide the links to the numbers you're over-enthused about), Gears of War 3 stands at 5.73M while Uncharted 3 is at 5.6M.

This hardly pictures a game "smoking" an other one in popularity. 

But that's beside the point. You went around the subject discussed and didn't addressed the 40% nonsense you made up...

Actually things are pretty fine on the overall, the only problem is with those comments which intentionally tries to downplay one instead of the other.

According to vgchartz, GoW 3 sold less than 1/3 of what UC3 did in 2012. It's easy to understand why you're so upset.
